First Friday Art Reception: Three Galleries, Three Shows, Plus a Newly Installed BEE!

Join at the MANN Center for the Arts in Sanford for a First Friday Art Reception on September 4th, 5PM-7PM. September’s First Friday is all-a-buzz with excitement as all three galleries open shows, plus see the unveiling of the newest piece of public artwork at the main entrance.
Join on September 4th starting at 5PM to take your picture with the newly installed bee, explore the galleries, and enjoy refreshments, music, and the awards presentation for the North Carolina Landscapes competition at 6PM. Friends at the Lee County Arts Council present photography by Kyra Rodriguez, and don’t forget Brick City Gallery’s Lee Regional Fair exhibition showing right now (and you can buy fair tickets too)!
Attendees can explore artwork in the Emerging Artist Gallery, Brick City Gallery, and Lee County Arts Council Gallery, as well as view artist studios presented by the Sanford Brush & Palette Club while enjoying complimentary refreshments. Event is free and open to the community.
