Join us for the ultimate Scotland County homecoming at the annual John Blue Festival, held Saturday, October 10th from 9AM-5PM. For just $5 admission (and free for ages 5 and under), your family can step back in time and explore our rich local heritage. The grounds will be buzzing with live music, dancing, local craft vendors, and a variety of delicious food trucks. There is plenty of fun for the little ones with free kid games, tractor games, and educational booths, making it the perfect setting to grab a bite, enjoy the craftsmanship, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Feeling competitive? Don’t miss the famous Chili Cook-Off! With a $10 entry fee, you can put your recipe to the test for a chance to take home 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place cash prizes. If you’re an artist, be sure to turn in your submissions on the Wednesday before the festival; judging takes place ahead of time so winners can be celebrated all weekend long while their work remains on display.
