The Parks and Recreation Departments of Aberdeen, Pinehurst, and Southern Pines are jointly hosting a Jr. NBA Skills Challenge on July 24th at 6:00PM. Held at the Cannon Park Community Center located at 210 Rattlesnake Trail, this free competition is open to boys and girls ages 7-14.

Participants will compete in five fundamental basketball areas: shooting, lay-ups, dribbling, passing, and defense. Players will be divided into 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U age groups, with medals awarded to winners in each skill category and trophies presented to overall age bracket winners.
