Join the Aberdeen Police Department for a powerful show of support during the fifth annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina on Saturday, May 16th. This family-friendly 5K is open to the public and focuses on inclusion rather than competition, bringing together law enforcement and the community to raise funds and awareness for nearly 53,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities across the state.

The event begins at Aberdeen Elementary School, located at 525 Farrell Pkwy, with registration starting at 8:30AM and the run kicking off at 9:00AM. A $25 donation covers registration and includes a 2026 Torch Run t-shirt to be worn during the event as participants help carry the Flame of Hope.
