Lumbee Tribe Fall Festival & Fish Fry

The Lumbee Tribe of N.C. is hosting its Lumbee Tribe Fall Festival & Fish Fry on Saturday, October 3rd!
A full day of community fun kicks off with a 5K Fun Run/Walk at 8:00AM (registration open from 6:45AM-7:45AM). Gospel singing performances begin at 10:30AM featuring The Locklears, the Bobby Deal family, The McNeills, the Carter family, Senior Ms. Lumbee Lottie Locklear, the Lumbee Ambassadors, and past Senior Ms. Lumbees.
A free fish fry lunch will be served starting at 11:00AM while supplies last. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy stickball demonstrations as well as cultural demonstrations by Lumbee artisans and local vendors.
The event is free and open to the public. Celebrations take place at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center, located at 638 Terry Sanford Drive, Maxton, NC 28364. For more information, call 910-521-7861 or visit lumbeetribe.com.
