Marty Stuart has spent more than five decades doing things his way — and country music is better for it. A five-time GRAMMY Award winner and Country Music Hall of Famer, Stuart came up playing alongside legends like Lester Flatt and Johnny Cash before carving out a solo career that produced gold and platinum records, including Hillbilly Rock and This One’s Gonna Hurt You. Along the way, he co-wrote the GRAMMY-winning The Whiskey Ain’t Workin with Travis Tritt, earned a Golden Globe nomination for his film score work, and founded the Congress of Country Music to preserve the genre’s roots.
