Join Moore County Kennel Club February 6th-8th for the CAT & FastCAT events—a fun, fast-paced dog sport that’s easy to watch and even easier to cheer for. In both CAT (Coursing Ability Test) and FastCAT, dogs chase a lure across an open field, tapping into their natural instinct to run and pursue. You’ll see everything from speedy sighthounds to enthusiastic family dogs giving it their all. No prior experience is needed to enjoy the action, and spectators are absolutely welcome.

Curious about letting your own dog try it? Fun runs will be available, making this a great opportunity to test the waters in a relaxed setting. Dogs competing for official titles do so under American Kennel Club rules; participation fees and full details are listed in the premium on our website.
