Come out for the 28th annual N.C. Peach Festival of Candor! This year’s festival is presented by Mountaire Farms. The three-day festival takes place Thursday, July 16th-Saturday, July 18th with much fun in Fitzgerald Park.
The fun kicks off on Thursday, July 16th from 4:00PM-9:00PM with the Flamin’ Hot Wing Competition sponsored by Mountaire Farms, featuring plenty of wings, fresh peaches, and live music from G. Money’s Beach Party, The Beach Fever Band, and Tracy Bates and the Circuit Riders.
On Friday, July 17th, the festivities continue from 4:00PM-9:00PM with the Concert in the Park, where you can enjoy food, vendors, and musical performances by The Notorious P.I.P.S. and too MUCH SyLviA. Friday night also introduces an exciting new addition: the Peach Bash exhibition wrestling match presented by Atlantic Coast Wrestling down in the park at 7:00PM.
The main festival day arrives on Saturday, July 18th, starting early with the Peach Cooking Contest at Candor Town Hall at 8:00AM, followed by the traditional parade down Main Street at 10:00AM. Immediately after the parade, the park will come alive with craft and food vendors, family activities, and plenty of homemade peach ice cream. Saturday’s entertainment includes the introduction of the Peach Queen, Little Miss Peach Blossom, and the 2026 Grand Marshals—The Sand Band—who will perform alongside afternoon headliner Jim Quick & Coastline. Festival t-shirts and official merchandise will be available throughout the event at Candor Town Hall.
