NitroFest

The City of Rockingham and Visit Richmond County present NitroFest on Thursday, September 24th, from 6PM-9PM! This event serves as the official kickoff celebration for the inaugural NHRA Nationals at The Rock.
The free downtown event features new musical headliner The Lacs, who step in to perform live following a lineup change. Attendees can enjoy driver meet-and-greets, show cars, interactive activities, and family entertainment preceding the historic NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series playoff races at Rockingham Dragway over the weekend.
NHRA Driver Autograph Session: 6:30PM-7:15PM
Live Concert: The Lacs performing live from 7:45PM-9:00PM
Attractions & Activities: Race car displays, motorsports vendors, beer garden hosted by Rockingham Dragway, merchandise, drag racing practice tree competition, and food trucks
Free Kids Zone: Presented by Pee Dee Electric, featuring bounce houses, inflatable slides, rock climbing wall, and face painting
NHRA Nationals Race Weekend Information: Friday, September 25th-Sunday, September 27th at Rockingham Dragway
Events: Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle national points racing (NHRA Countdown to the Championship)
Ticketing Details: Free General Admission for kids 12 and under ($25 non-premium reserved seats); free spectator parking and open pit access included with every ticket; GOVX discounts available for active military, veterans, and first responders
