Operation Green Light for Veterans in Moore County 2026
November 29 @ 9:00 am – 11:59 pm
Moore County is participating in the nationwide initiative, Operation Green Light for Veterans, throughout the entire month of November, from November 1st-November 30th. Residents, local businesses, and community organizations across the Sandhills are encouraged to shine a green light in their windows, on front porches, or outside places of business to show gratitude and support for military veterans and their families. Organized locally in partnership with Moore County Government, the initiative aims to raise awareness about the service and sacrifices of local veterans while highlighting support services and community resources available to help service members transition to civilian life.
