Sandhills Central Railroad Club Train Show

Sandhills Central Railroad Club operates an HO Scale train layout that is a recreation of downtown Aberdeen. During the show, up to as many a six trains will be operating at any given time on the layout. Trains are replicas of real life railroads including the Aberdeen Carolina & Western, Aberdeen & Rockfish as well as CSX. The event is done to make more people aware of the club’s presence in the community as well as seeking to find individuals who may be interested in getting involved in the hobby. While at the show, guests will be able to visit Aberdeen’s Railroad Museum which is housed in another section of the train station as well as taking a tour of the A&R caboose on the siding adjacent to the station.
