Service Before Self BBQ Cookoff & Benefit Event 2026

Fire up the grills and honor community heroes at the 3rd Annual Service Before Self BBQ Cookoff & Event on September 18th-19th, hosted at Home at Last Farms in Cameron!
The weekend-long celebration kicks off on Friday, September 18th, with gates opening at 9:00AM as BBQ cooking teams compete for top honors, including a $500 gift card and trophy for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place, $200 for 3rd place, and the People’s Choice trophy. Team entry is $150 per team.
The main public celebration continues on Saturday, September 19th, from 2:00PM-8:00PM (gates open at 12:00PM). Admission is free and open to everyone! Enjoy $15 BBQ plate sales, explore local vendor booths, and bring lawn chairs for live music performances by Joyner, Young & Marie (JYM) and Mike from the Bar.
