Seven Lakes Fire / Rescue Fish Fry to Benefit Retired EMS Major Mike Allred

The annual Seven Lakes Fire / Rescue Fish Fry is back on Friday, June 19th, 2026, from 5:00PM-8:00PM as a special benefit to help with the medical bills of retired Moore County EMS Major Mike Allred.
Major Allred dedicated nearly 22 years to the citizens of Moore County as part of his incredible 45-year career in EMS services, but was recently forced into retirement following a stroke that left him requiring ongoing treatment and assistance. To help ease the financial burdens placed on Major Allred and his wife, who is also an actively serving member of Moore County EMS, the community is invited to come out and show their support.
This event is take-out only and features their famous golden fried catfish and flounder plates, complete with regular coleslaw, hushpuppies, and classic fries. Plates cost $14.00 each, with all proceeds going directly toward Mike’s medical bill relief, and additional donations are greatly appreciated to help support this dedicated local public servant!
