Take a break from the rush of everyday life and spend an afternoon discovering the simple pleasure of slow stitching with artist and instructor Melanie Hindmarsh on Wednesday, Oct. 14th from 2:00-5:00.
Slow stitching is a relaxed, creative approach to hand embroidery that encourages you to enjoy the process rather than worry about perfection. You’ll work with fabric, thread, and simple stitches to create a one-of-a-kind piece full of color, texture, and personality.
Melanie will guide you through the basics in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. No previous stitching experience is necessary! Your finished piece can be framed as artwork, turned into a greeting card, or incorporated into a project of your choice at home.
You will leave with a needle and enough thread to continue working on your piece at home if you need a little extra time to finish.

No experience necessary! Everything is included.

- Please note: ARTworks Vass is home to friendly gallery/studio cats who may be present during classes and events. 🐾
- Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
- Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Class starts promptly as scheduled.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
