Southern Pines Parks & Recreation is offering an exciting lineup of STEM Summer Camps utilizing LEGO materials to keep young minds active and building all summer long. The diverse collection of interactive, themed camps offers the perfect community opportunity for local children to explore engineering principles while making friends in a creative environment!
All sessions will take place at the Train Station and are divided into specific age groups with morning sessions running from 9:00AM-12:00PM for ages 5-7, and afternoon sessions running from 1:00PM-4:00PM for ages 7-12.
The season kicks off Monday-Thursday, June 15-8, with Adventures in STEM for the younger group and STEM Explorations for the older kids.
Weekday sessions from June 22–26 feature Pokémon Engineering followed by Pokémon Master Engineering in the afternoon, while June 29-July 2 brings Wildlife Wonders in STEM alongside the Wizarding World of Engineering.
July continues the hands-on fun with Minecraft Engineering and Minecraft Master Engineering running weekdays from July 6-10 and concludes with STEM FUNdamentals and Machine Mayhem running weekdays from July 13-17.
