Take and Bake: Sourdough Pop Tarts Class (Ages 18+)

Purple Thistle Kitchen + Co. is offering a hands-on Take and Bake: Sourdough Pop Tarts Class on Wednesday, October 7th, starting at 6:00PM. Exclusively for adults ages 18 and older, the workshop teaches participants how to transform active sourdough starter or discard into all-natural, whole-food Pop Tarts.
Begin with a tasting of various homemade sourdough Pop Tarts paired with Purple Tea, followed by step-by-step instruction on sourdough pastry techniques, rolling, filling, sealing, and baking. Assemble their own Pop Tarts to bake fresh at home and decorate pre-made tarts to enjoy immediately.
Tickets are $75 per person and include all recipes plus a take-home baking kit featuring a dough roller, bench scraper, silicone pastry brush, purple ruler, and Pop Tart cookie cutter.
