The Seaboard Festival 2026

Celebrate Richmond County’s rich railroad heritage at the 44th Annual Seaboard Festival on Saturday, October 31st, in historic downtown Hamlet. The free event kicks off with the Seaboard Festival 5K at 8:00AM, followed by festival hours along Main Street from 9:00AM-5:00PM. Visitors can enjoy hundreds of craft and food vendors, Halloween-themed activities, local dance performances, and the Seaboard Festival Car Show. Live entertainment will run all day across two stages.
“Established in 1983, the Seaboard Festival is an annual celebration of Hamlet’s railroad heritage and community spirit. Held each year on the last Saturday in October, the festival has grown into one of the largest and longest-running festivals in the Sandhills region, attracting thousands of visitors to downtown Hamlet for a day filled with history, entertainment, shopping, food, and family fun.”
