The Walthour-Moss Foundation will hold their annual Fun Dog Show on Saturday, May 30th, from 9AM-12PM at Lyell’s Meadow, located at 225 Mile Away Lane in Southern Pines. Come out for a barking, silly, tail-wagging day of fun! The 2026 class list features exciting categories with prizes and ribbons awarded for each class, including Senior Dog (open to dogs aged 10 and up), Jr. Handler, Costume (dog and handler), Best Rescue, Waggiest Tail, Best Trick, Cutest, and a Best in Show Fundraiser. In addition to the competition, Caring Hearts for Canines will be on site with adoptable dogs looking for forever homes. Day-of-show registration opens at 8:00AM, entry costs $5 per class, and participants can also pre-enter online at www.walthour-moss.org.
