Town of Aberdeen: Christmas Tree Lighting 2026

The Town of Aberdeen will hold their annual Christmas Tree Lighting, a Moore County favorite on Thursday, December 3, 2026 at 6:15PM! Witness the lighting of the Aberdeen Christmas tree and the arrival of Santa with special performances, light refreshments and face painting. This year, the event will be held at the Aberdeen Library, 123 Exchange St. The event is free of charge.
A free shuttle service will be provided by Sandhills Trolley that will pick up/drop off at our Recreation Office and in front of Main St Park. Thank you to our sponsor, Ripple Fiber.
