Lee County Parks & Recreation and City of Sanford Parks are hosting the annual Egg-A-Palooza on Saturday, March 28th, at its new location at the Lee County Athletic Park (1304 Broadway Road (also listed as 210 Champion Road). This free community event runs from 11:00AM-2:00PM and features a massive hunt with over 20,000 eggs.

The egg hunt begins at 1:00PM and is divided into specific age groups: children ages 4 and under (parent-assisted), ages 5-8, and ages 9-13, along with a dedicated area for individuals with special needs.

Beyond the hunt, attendees can enjoy food trucks, music, games, prizes, and face painting. There will also be plenty of photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny throughout the afternoon. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date has been set for Sunday, March 29, from 12:00PM-2:00PM, with the egg hunt still scheduled for 1:00PM.
