Tuesday Night Live: Battle of the Bands

Tuesday Night Live returns for the 2026–2027 season at the West Southern Pines Center! This free community series brings together live music, artist development, and performance opportunities. While admission is free, donations are welcomed to support the community music hub.
September 22nd (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM): Battle of the Bands-Audition Day 1, plus a featured performance by James Wilson sharing his new EP
🎸🔥 BATTLE OF THE BANDS!
Tuesday Night Live is turning up the volume tonight at the West Southern Pines Center! We’re excited to welcome TWO bands to the stage for Battle of the Bands auditions—and they’re bringing two completely different sounds!
🎶 2 Horizons An acoustic duo serving up a mix of country, rock & pop covers. Come hear some familiar favorites with their own acoustic sound!
🤡⚡ The Frozen Charlottes A riot grrrl band of clowns bringing angry girl music to the stage with a powerful blend of grunge, indie rock, punk & post-hardcore. Their music explores reclamation of the Jungian shadow through a bold, unapologetic sound.
🎤 PLUS — JAMES WILSON EP RELEASE! We’ll also be celebrating new music from James Wilson, featuring his newly released EP! Come show some love, hear the new project, and support local music.

September 29th: Battle of the Bands-Audition Day 2
Applications for the Battle of the Bands are due by September 18. Musician applications can be submitted online via the QR code on the event flyer or picked up in person at the Southern Pines Land & Housing Trust front office. Anyone interested in hosting, performing, or leading a future session is encouraged to reach out to organizers to get involved.
