The Veterans & Psychedelics Wellness Summit. A day of panels, breathwork, yoga, food & resource booths for veterans, families & community on Sunday, November 8th, from 11AM-5PM at Sunrise Theater!
Come spend the day with us for an event focused on wellness, healing, and community. Hosted by Carolinas for Care, this summit explores how psychedelic-assisted therapy can support veterans and their families on the path to better mental health.
For many veterans, standard treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental health conditions don’t bring lasting relief. Too often, veterans and their families are left to research options and find care on their own. That’s why we’re bringing the experts, resources, and community directly to them.
Psychedelic-assisted therapies are showing real promise in clinical research, especially for people who haven’t found relief elsewhere. Momentum is growing nationwide. Federal agencies are speeding up psychedelic research, the FDA is shaping how these treatments are studied, and states like North Carolina are considering legislation to fund clinical research and prepare for safe, responsible access.
The day brings learning, connection, and open conversation about mental health and new approaches to healing, including ketamine therapy, emerging psychedelic-assisted treatments, and alternative wellness options. You’ll hear from clinicians, researchers, and veterans who have walked this path themselves. Whether you’re looking for answers, exploring treatment options, or just curious, there’s something for everyone.
