The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina invites the public to the Wild Game Festival on Saturday, March 28th, held at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center on Terry Sanford Drive in Maxton. This day-long celebration begins at 11:00AM with a Wild Game Dinner featuring a variety of traditional favorites like quail, deer, duck, bison, and more, followed by a Community Powwow from 1:00PM-5:00PM. The festivities conclude in the evening with a bonfire and traditional social dancing from 6:00PM-9:00PM. Co-sponsored by Trillium Health Resources, Carolina Complete Health, and Alliance Integrated Solutions, this event offers a full day of cultural immersion and community fellowship.
