Day of Caring 2026 (Register by September 7th)

United Way of Moore County is hosting its Day of Caring 2026 on Friday, September 11th, starting at 8:30AM.
This annual hands-on service event brings community members together to support local non-profit agencies. Participants meet for a continental breakfast and project assignments before deploying to various volunteer sites. Work projects include garden cleanups, playground mulching, meal delivery, and clothing sorting benefiting partner organizations such as Friend to Friend, Meals on Wheels, Moore Montessori, Northern Moore Family Resource Center, Partners for Children & Families, Sandhills Children’s Center, Southern Pines Land & Housing Trust, Sandhills Coalition, and Weymouth Equestrians.
Registration Deadline: Pre-registration required by Monday, September 7th
Schedule: Breakfast and check-in at 8:30AM; site deployment at 9:00AM
