The Women of Weymouth meet on the third Monday of the month from September to May. Each meeting features an invited speaker or program. Social time begins at 11:00am. The business meeting begins at 11:15am and is followed by the month’s featured speaker.

March’s featured speaker is Jason Harpster, accredited American Orchid Society judge. Jason Harpster serves as both a fire alarm engineer and general manager at Central Security Systems, a family-owned business. He holds accreditation as an American Orchid Society judge and serves as chairman of the Carolinas Judging Center. His commitment to community extends to his roles as an Eagle Scout and chairman of the Eagle Scout Review Board for the Sandhills District. A passionate orchid enthusiast, Jason maintains a collection of approximately 1,200 orchids, representing over 500 unique species. He has also earned recognition as a published author, regularly contributing articles about orchids that he has named after his hometown, Southern Pines.
